Marcadores do discurso na fala
Marcadores do discurso são palavrinhas que organizam a conversa e mostram sua atitude. Quase não mudam os fatos, mas fazem você soar natural e fluente. Vários se parecem com palavras do português e enganam: actually não é “atualmente”.

Atenção ao sentido
- actually = na verdade, para corrigir algo; “atualmente” é currently ou these days.
- mind you acrescenta um contraponto: It’s expensive. Mind you, it’s very good.
- anyway fecha um assunto paralelo e volta ao principal.
- I mean é o “quer dizer” do português; in short ou basically é o “resumindo”.
