Frases clivadas (It was… that, What I need is…)

Erros comuns

- ✗ What I need it is a long holiday.✓ What I need is a long holiday.Depois de what I need, o verbo is vem direto; o pronome it não se repete.
- ✗ All what I want is some peace.✓ All I want is some peace.O “tudo o que eu quero” do português vira all I want, sem what.
- ✗ The thing what I love about Rio is the beach.✓ The thing I love about Rio is the beach.Depois de the thing, o pronome what não serve; ou se omite o pronome ou se usa that.
- ✗ It is the price what worries me, not the size.✓ It is the price that worries me, not the size.Na estrutura it is … that, o “que” do português é that, e não what.
