Bedingungssätze Typ 1 (if + present)
Typ 1 beschreibt reale Möglichkeiten in der Zukunft: Wenn das passiert, wird das passieren.
| if-Satz | Hauptsatz |
|---|---|
| If it rains, | we’ll stay at home. |
| If you don’t hurry, | you’ll miss the bus. |
Regeln
- Nach if steht das Präsens, nicht will: If it will rain ✗.
- Die Reihenfolge kann wechseln: We’ll stay at home if it rains (ohne Komma).
- unless = wenn nicht: I won’t go unless you come.
- when für Dinge, die sicher passieren: When I get home, I’ll call you.
Beispiele
- If you need help, I’ll come.Wenn du Hilfe brauchst, komme ich.
- If the price goes down, we’ll buy it.Wenn der Preis sinkt, kaufen wir es.
- What will you do if they say no?Was machst du, wenn sie nein sagen?
- I’ll be late unless I take a taxi.Ich komme zu spät, wenn ich kein Taxi nehme.
- If it snows, the flight will be cancelled.Wenn es schneit, wird der Flug gestrichen.
Typische Fehler
- ✗ If I would have time, I will come.✓ If I have time, I will come.Would nach if gehört nicht in den ersten Konditionalsatz.
- ✗ Unless you don’t hurry, we’ll be late.✓ Unless you hurry, we’ll be late.Unless bedeutet schon „wenn nicht“, deshalb steht kein not.
- ✗ If he comes, I would tell him.✓ If he comes, I will tell him.Im Hauptsatz des ersten Konditionalsatzes steht will, nicht would.
- ✗ If I will see him, I will tell him.✓ If I see him, I will tell him.Nach if steht auch bei Zukünftigem das Present Simple, deshalb steht im if-Satz kein will.
- ✗ I will call you if I will have time.✓ I will call you if I have time.Auch wenn der if-Satz am Ende steht, bleibt er im Present Simple und bekommt kein will.
