Nouns in the plural: all cases

Good news: in the plural, the dative, instrumental and locative endings are the same for all genders: -ам, -ами, -ах. Only the genitive needs real attention.

Common mistakes

After five the genitive plural has no ending for книга.
The recipient goes into the dative plural, which ends in -ям, unlike English to friends.
The instrumental plural is used for the route, with the ending -ами.
After у the locative plural ends in -ах, so магазини becomes магазинах, which English in shops lacks.
