Did you hear anything?
You can sit anywhere.
I don’t know anyone here.

Common mistakes

Ніхто takes the accusative нікого and the verb needs не.
Ні- words always require не, while English nobody does not.
The genitive нічого is used with a verb that takes it.
A negated verb always carries не, and the doubled negation is normal, unlike English never been.
The subject is in the nominative ніхто, with не before the verb.
