Oraciones temporales de futuro
Tras when, as soon as, before, after, until se usa el presente, no will, aunque se hable del futuro. En español aquí va subjuntivo: cuando llegue.
| temporal (presente) | principal (futuro) |
|---|---|
| When I get home, | I’ll call you. |
| As soon as she arrives, | we’ll start. |
| Until you finish, | you won’t get paid. |
| After we’ve eaten, | we’ll go for a walk. |
Notas
- El present perfect subraya que la primera acción habrá terminado: I’ll tell you when I’ve read it.
- La temporal puede ir delante (con coma) o detrás (sin coma).
- when = pasará seguro; if = puede pasar: cuando lo vea / si lo veo.
